Breathtaking views from the rim (Mount Kilimanjaro), optional swimming in turquoise waters, wildlife spotting (monkeys, birds) making it a perfect blend of relaxation and nature adventure.

Expect a scenic drive, a descent to the lake (a bit strenuous but worth it), and activities like birdwatching or swimming with stunning views.
2 – MATERUNI WATER FALLS & COFFEE TOUR
Materuni Waterfalls are located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro.

This day trip offers a scenic hike through banana and coffee plantations to a 90-meter-tall waterfall.
The experience also includes a cultural visit to Materuni Village, home of the Chagga people, for a hands-on coffee-making experience, from bean to cup.
You can swim in the cold pool at the base of the falls, but sturdy hiking shoes are recommended as the trail can be slippery when wet.

The action, heritage, and cuisine are all present on this all-day excursion.
4 – KIKULETWA HOT SPRING & MAASAI TOUR

Kikuletwa Hot Springs, also known as Maji Moto and also Chemka Hot Springs, is a natural geothermal oasis located in Masama Rundugai ward of Hai District in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. Chemka means “boiling” in Swahili, referring to the appearance of how the water emerges from the ground. Ideal for swimming and relaxing in the warm water.
The surrounding area provides stunning views with a great picnic spot. Go for a relaxing swim in the hot springs and finally you get a cultural visit to a traditional Massi village. What a great day.

The drive from Moshi to Kikuletwa Hot Springs will start on paved road toward Arusha, before turning left onto a gravel road about 30 minutes later. The road will take you thru gorgeous African countryside past bushland, dry riverbeds, baobab and acacia trees among many others.
